Swimming Pool Slide Guide
Bring back childhood memories this summer by adding a slide to your swimming pool area. They are just as fun as they used to be and now there are more options when it comes to swimming pool slide designs. For example, your pool might be a unique shape – a 1980’s slide would not be able to accommodate something like that.
Now, though, many slides offer curves that will fit your specific pool layout. As far as colors, you used to only be able to find slides in the traditional white or blue hues, but now they come in every color imaginable. Slides can come in a multitude of materials: plastic, acrylic, fiberglass and polyethylene.
Which material you choose should not be based on price, but by how much weight you plan to add to the slide. Obviously, heavier sliders will need a sturdier material. And never skimp on safety features when it comes to pool slides – hand railings are an absolute must! As far as price of pool slides, be prepared to spend between $600 and $1,800.
